Hawaii Marriage Certificate?? 3 months to issue??

Have anyone here got married in Hawaii and immediately applied for AOS?

Apparently Hawaii takes 3 to 4 months to send the official marriage certificate, but 24 hours after the marriage you can go online and print a temporary marriage certificate.

Does anyone know if this temporary marriage certificate is valid to apply for the Adjustment of Status/Relative Petition?

You asked me and I answered this question yesterday! The temporary certificate was fine for us...no RFE, no problem. Your "official" marriage certificate will come much faster than 3-4 months if you officiant registers your wedding online. This was a brand new option 2 years ago (and I imagine that it still exists) and we had the official copies in about 3 weeks---long after we filed for AOS. We were ready with the official copies if we got an RFE, but we did not get one. Please go back and reread the post that you commented on yesterday for what we sent regarding the marriage certificate. Feel free to send me a private message if you have any other questions. Dual Citizenship 7/7/22 Joan is now a Dual US/Filipino Citizen!
