Dear Fellows,

i had received the interview letter in which its mention that i have to submit the new Police certificate if its more than 1 year old on the other end in Karachi police certificate issued for 6 months and that is gonna expired on Sep 30 and my interview is on 27 Oct But as far as letter condition concern Police certificate is not 1 year old.

Technically no longer required in pakistan, but if it is not too much trouble get a new one.

Police Records

Not available. Pakistan has no nationwide tracking system in place for criminal activities. Police Character Certificates are available for a fee from District Coordinating Offices. However, they are not an accurate reflection of an individual's criminal record. An applicant who has committed a crime in one district may be able to obtain a clean Character Certificate from that district or another. Given the inaccuracy of these certificates, they are not required for consular processing.

September 1, 2011: NVC case number assigned
September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent
September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

yes as per this link Police certificate not required for Pakistan's but every one here sending this at NVC stage and i didn't come across any case where he get though by not submitting PC or expire PC.

That was my thinking too, it was easy for us to obtain so better to have it and not need it at all then to not have it and have them ask about it

I talked to quite a few people about this, and like me they all also included the PCC
