Outstanding vaccination upon arrival to US - advise neede

Hi guys, I am a bit lost here. I have MMR vaccine outstanding. Do I have to go through USCIS certified doctor where he will sign certain portion of I 693 or I can go to see regular doctor who can do the same? The reason I am asking coz certified surgeon told me that I have to do the whole medical again here. Doesn't sound right. Please help.Thanks

Some civil surgeons will want to do the complete medical exam again, very few will do just the vaccines. But, either way the I-693 has to be done by a civil surgeon and not a any doctor.

if you have had 1 dose of MMR then you will not need the other. I had one shot at my medical and then didnt bother with the second one, no issues with AOS

Depends on her timing of the MMR. You had one at the medical, so a waiver was marked "insufficient time interval" meaning you couldn't have the second one for 4 weeks. Your DS-3025 was as complete as medically possible on the date of record so was acceptable.

If she had one as a child then it was medically okay to have a second one because way more than four weeks had passed since her childhood. She would not be given a waiver for shot 2. Her DS-3025 would not be complete.

The OP didn't give enough information about dates or waivers to know for sure if she really needs it.

Not everybody needs MMR, I assume that it applies in this case.
