How soon can my husband return after his interview?

I am trying to figure out what happens after the interview. My husband's interview is tomorrow 09/09/15 in Ciudad Juarez and his flight home is the next day. After the interview, does he have to wait for anything or can he come home? Should I reschedule his flight?

This has been such a long stressful process and we have three children and they miss their dad and I miss my husband. And he just wants to be home for our daughter's birthday on Saturday.

Home to where? The states?...........It will take a few weeks to get the visa, you don't get it right there on the spot.

It's quite foolish to schedule any sort of flight without a visa. I'd try and reschedule the ticket if I were you.
