Hello Everyone,

As many in VJ, I am waiting for VSC to remove the conditions of my temporary green card. So far I have let everything follow its natural course but lately I've been getting a little impatient and this is why... First, we filed to remove conditions on October 2014 and in May 2015 we were requested to submit more evidence, which we sent and was received by June 11, 2015. The RFE letter stated to wait 60 days to hear something. I waited the 60 days and on August 17th, 2015 I submitted a service request which they told me it would take two weeks to get a letter from an officer with specific details about my case.

Here is the question I have:

Does anybody know what happens behind the scenes at VSC once my service request says that it has been completed?

If anybody has any input on this situation it would be appreciated. I am just getting a little impatient as i need to travel outside of the US for work and it is a little unsettling to travel with an expired GC and a letter from the USCIS saying that your stay is extended for a year. I have already traveled with this letter but people at the airports aren't very familiar with it. Thanks again and i hope this post is helpful for others as well.

Below is my timeline since I submitted the application to remove conditions.
