Evidence of having met

I have all the evidence on my end (boarding pass, visa stamps) but for my fiancee (she came via car, visa gets stamps on card that gets turned in once returned, hotel was booked in my name) we do have pictures of us there. but any ideas on what else i can get for stronger evidence ?

Ok she found she visa stamped on passport.

Do i send photocopies of entire passport, or just page with visa stamps?

For evidence of relationship. You just need to send copies of the passport stamp pages

your evidence is good enough but if you want to you can also include some text and or chats from the both of you

You do not need evident of meeting. A simple staement Stating how you met is all that us needed

I think most people will agree .You do not need a lot of evidence of meeting in person for k-1.Read the instruction the requirement is having met at least once in the past 2 years of filing I-129f form And a statement of how you met.

The evidence is for proof of your relationship

Some countries are consider high fraud countries so the more you visit the better chance you have

If you are including passport stamps as proof of meeting, you need a copy of the relevant pages in the passport that has the stamps AND a copy of the bio page.

This is absolutely wrong. You ARE required to submit evidence of your meeting in person within the last 2 years. This evidence has to undoubtedly prove you met in person, not just a simple statement. Things like passport stamps, boarding passes, receipts with date and location, these all prove without a doubt you met in person. Such things as photos, plane tickets, statements of meeting, these all support the primary evidence you submit.

Page 5 of the I-129F instructions:

c. Submit evidence that you and your fiancé(e) have met in person during the 2 years preceding your filing of this petition. Such evidence may include a written statement from you and/or the beneficiary stating the exact date(s) on which you met in person, copy of airline tickets, passport pages, or other evidence showing you and the beneficiary have met in person during the requisite time period.

No where does it say must include. So yes a simple statement is all that is require.

The USCIS is only interested in If a person meets the eligibility for the visa and the paper work is done correctly. They do not care how many times a person has met or the circumstance. Now the embassy might want to see more proof of meeting in person.

Yes I did notice the word MAY. But just because you MAY include something does not mean it will be accepted by USCIS as sufficient evidence of meeting. Yes you MAY include a statement that you met, but as I said earlier that statement by itself is not enough.

USCIS wants evidence that you met. The State Department consular officer will want proof of relationship.

RFE's have been issued by USCIS for proof of having met, besides the 'we met blah blah' on the form.

Evidence of having met once within the last 2 years must be included in the

petition, I don't care what "may" or "may not" be submitted, don't submit it and risk a RFE.

How you met to me means where did you first start talking.

Meeting in person is a different issue

my RFE said how did you meet ? if it was a dating site show proof of how you paid for it.

so, i take it how you met means exactly that

thru a friend, on facebook, dating site, etc

You must proof you met face to face the first time (within the last 2 years) even though you put 'on the internet' on the form.

Therefore the boarding pass, hotel receipt, photos etc, is the proof of being in the same spot at the same time.
