Philippine Immigration at airport

In the past I left Philppines to work in other countries both times I said I was getting married but I didn't have cfo and used an escort and tears to let io let me through. This past year I tried to go on vacation with my hubby and they denied us cause they didn't believe I was just vacation. We filed k1 and got approve thank God. I already have visa and my cfo. Can immigration keep me in the country for the past? I have all documents visa, cfo, embassy packet, this time and I expect to go to room for questions. They know already both times before I just went for work even though I lie. What can I do? My fiance does not know and I leave next week? I just want to know if they can keep me here?

They shouldn't keep you there at all. My question is why would you say that if you were going to work as a OFW, were you going to work in a restricted country or you didn't want to sign up to be a OFW?

My fiance knows I work in the countries, that's where I met him, he just doesn't know the story how I arrive there. He thought it was work visa.

If you have a bonified visa and CFO in your passport, you may get a little flak from immigration, depends if they made any entry into their system. I am not sure, but reasoning says that you have passed all the hurdles and that you should not have any problems at immigration.

You need to be confident, look the immigration officer in the eye and answer their questions truthfully. Don't volunteer any information, unless asked. Let sleeping "dogs" lie.

I wouldn't lie about anything, why? Coz lying means I am either doing something wrong (and you are not) or I am afraid (and you should not).

So, if the K1 visa is stamped in your passport and all documents are there (with the secret packet the US EM gives you untouched), you should have no fear.

Just have all docs in place and you should be ok.

The Philippine immigration CAN NOT stop you if you have a visa stamped in your passport. That's the law. Mind you, assume there is no law in the PI :)

Best of luck!

I am curious.... what law are you referring to that Philippines Immigration can't stop a Filipino citizen who still is a Filipino citizen? Can you site your source for such information?

Actually, you are right. I should not have said 'CAN NOT' but it's more convincing to them if you had the visa stamp.

It's my mistake!

Thank you for everyone, I left straight from Cebu City to Seoul and onward. They did take me in back and question me, but they only asked about the de-boarding from the failed vacation...but I just told them what happened. No problems and am here now.
