Will this be suspicious for affidavit of support?

I'm using a co sponsor for my affidavit of support.

He petitined for his wife to come to the U.S. 10 years ago and filed an affidavit of support for her, so when the I 134 application asked about that, I put that he filed for her because I can't lie.

Also, he makes an income of $89,000 a year but he doesn't have a lot of savings on his bank account because he's investing a lot of money on building a new house. So they might think it's weird he makes a lot but doesn't have a lot in his savings.

Would these things cause any suspicious when my fiance presents the affidavit of support I 134 and supporting documents to the immigration officer during the interview?

If he makes 89k a year he doesn't need to show his savings, all they care about is current INCOME.

Since he makes enough he doesn't need to show his savings or assets.

As for them finding it weird. No not at all, for all they know he just had 50k in savings and bought a couple of new cars. They focus on gross income (before bills, debt, buying anything) over net income (what it looks like AFTER the moneys been spent).


Now when you said that you put it in the I-134 for him because you didn't want to lie, are you filling out your cosponsors I-134? Your cosponsor should be filling out their own I-134.

I was filing it out with him to make sure we fill out everything correctly. I was asking about him filing for an I 134 10 years ago for his wife. I wasn't sure if they would find it unusual that he filed for one before and now he's filing to be our co-sponsor

As long as you have enough income to do so, you can sponsor as many people as you like.
