Hi everyone,

I finally have my interview date on the 14th of September, but my case number is dated May 13th. That means I've have 4 months after May 13th to have my interview?

I'm just unsure if this is correct. The date 4 months from my case number would be September 13th and the interview is the following day. Is there something I need to do or someone I should contact about this?

Thanks for any advice.

Tom

No, just attend the interview.

Im not sure why you are concerned about 4 months.

It can be, and is usually automatically extended by a consular official until the interview.

Hi ,

I am thinking about this topic because even my interview maybe will be later than my 4 months ( my NOA 2 date is June 5 and so the latest date that the case must be completed is October 4 ,)

Jose&Eli, we are concern because I the NOA 2 paper that we got is writen : " Valid from ex. June 5 to October 4"

I am hopping that the consular extend the 4 months validity. And Pitaya, are you sure for what you wrote in this topic about this issue ?

Thankyou to both of you who have open this topic

Wish good luck and just keep patient in this long jorney

Pitaya,

I have read even before what you sent by the link.

My Petition Expired Can It Be Extended?

The I-129F petition is valid for four months from the date of approval by USCIS. A consular officer can extend the validity of the petition if it expires before visa processing is completed.

But should we do anything , to send a letter to the embassy or smth like this?

Thankyou for your advise

In the case of London, it is not a concern. If it should run over, have your fiancé send an updated freshly signed and dated letter of intent (bring it with you). Otherwise no issue to be concerned about. :)
