ok, finally I received my green card by mail today ! 8 days for a "Priority Mail 2-Day™", it is not the more efficient but I will not complain ^^

Thank you everyone, it was very helpful for my soul to have news of your cases and know that I was not alone during this 16 months of this terrible journey :D

And I am happy to see that janet&adonis were finally approved. Congratulation ! There were not easy with you !

So... let's take 2 years of deserved rest before going through that again when time will be to remove our conditional status :)

Well I am not resting till the GREEN is in our hands. We have dealt with a lot with USCIS. I hope ROC is easier though. Mimikado make sure you update your timeline that you received your card.

I think that was the first update I got, and from there it was 16 calendar days for me. Welcome letter was received a few days after that. You may get another update that says "Card was mailed", and from there it was two days for me. I didn't get any tracking number until the card was delivered.

Also, I signed up for both SMS (Text) and email notifications, and ONLY the emails came through. So if you only signed up for SMS, I'd suggest signing up for email notifications also. The SMS has been iffy for a while now.

And last but not least, CONGRATULATIONS to you Janet&Adonis. You both deserve this!!! It's been a long journey for some of us.

Just received the welcome notice.

I was a little frustrated after I got the NPIWC, but it is good to see that some of the NPIWCs are being processed in a more reasonable way and I did not needed to wait another 6 months and do another pointless medical.

:joy:

Do a lot of cases get interview waivers?

Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose.
Hebrews 11:6 - And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

Do a lot of cases get interview waivers?

Before this topic, the forum had 2 other topics with 300 pages each.

So yes, the NPIWC is getting very common. Looking at the timelines and the topics, I think more than half of the people that applyed in the end of last year and in the beggining of this year got one.

In my opinion that's basically a way that USCIS uses to give itself more time to process the cases. The NPIWC letter is being used as a delay tool.

Looks like the only centers that still does many interviews and process things in a more reasonable time are the California ones.
