Everyone grows up different, even under the same type of environmental factors. I wouldn't be quick to judge.

I remember when I was growing up, my parents would use a bicycle chain on me whenever I did something bad. Whenever I miss a school day because of whatever reason either sick or whatever, I would get a whopping by my father. Plus, we didn't have our own roof, we had to live with somebody else. We had nothing, our source of income was can and bottles from trashes.

Some people would give up in that situation, some people would get depress, and some people would take that adversity and try to prove something out of themselve. So, it's only a matter of whether or not the kid can think clearly or not.

[Actually more of a pretend-soccer-mum.

(as she was a media-attention-seeking CF in 1980, and still is--so no change there)

True, she even has the contrived accent to go along with it.

But hey, she's always reinvented herself...now, she's rockin the Puritan angle

He kids are going to rebel when they get a bit older and she will be the reason for it. Mind you, aren't parents always the reason for rebellion at a younger age?

Yep. If you ever want your kids not to do something, just do it in front of them. For example, if you have a 15 year son and you don't want him to drink, just get drunk in front of him enough times. No wait...that doesn't seem to work either. I can't figure out the minds of teenagers.

True--history is only replete with examples of siblings turning out differently.

I'll use a "well-known" desi example here.

The late Madhavrao Scindia and his four sisters were all raised by his fanatically Hindu mother Vijayaraje. Madhavrao turned out secular-minded (Railways and Civil-Aviation ministries of Congress governments) while his younger sister Vasundhara turned out fanatically Hindu (current Chief Minister of Rajasthan, BJP)

An American example is that of erstwhile CA governor Jerry Brown (liberal Dem) and his sister (Pub, not so liberal).

The same can be said about about the family live's of serial killers. Maybe Mom or Dad were exremely strict and emotionally distant but only one of the kids grew up to be a serial killer. That doesn't, however, negate the impact or influence their family life had in how they become a psychopath.

"A source told the National Enquirer magazine: "It must come from her strict Catholic upbringing. "

Yes, it is her strong catholic upbringing where she gets her parental morals. Riiiiight. I wonder where she got her morals when she published the book 'Sex' or made the video 'Justify my Love'?

She is a hypocrite. Period. Chances are her kids will rebel against it just like she did.

So if you change your mind about things 20 years later you are a hypocrite? In the last 10 years, I don't see her doing any of the things she used to do. I don't understand how it is that as she got older and had kids, and her values changed, she is now a hypocrite. That's quite a bizarre use of the term.

How can one claim God cares to judge a fornicator over judging a lying, conniving bully? I guess you would if you are the lying, conniving bully.

the long lost pillar: belief in angels

she may be fat but she's not 50

"poisoned by a jew" sounds like a Borat song

If you bring up the truth, you're a PSYCHOPATH, life lesson #442.

My ex and I agreed long ago that our daughters may group date at age 16 and may go on one-on-one dates when they are 18. The oldest is 15 and is getting lots of 'attention' from boys, but there is no argument about 'dating'....... it's always been understood and accepted. She's told me that she' happy for the excuse to be able to defer the attention she's receiving. She knows that she's not ready.

8-30-05 Met David at a restaurant in Germany

3-28-06 David 'officially' proposed

4-26-06 I-129F mailed

9-25-06 Interview: APPROVED!

10-16-06 Flt to US, POE Detroit

11-5-06 Married

7-2-07 Green card received

9-12-08 Filed for divorce

12-5-08 Court hearing - divorce final

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

She'd be a hypocrite if she still lived the way she did then. If she is no longer do it, shes had a change in judgment and living standards.
