06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Lots of people are being put for supervisor review for silly reasons, such as the review taking longer than the 30 days or in our case, we got two checklists for something we shouldn't have been checklisted for.... We waited the initial 30 days for our review and once we got our checklists, I called NVC about them and the person put the checklists and our packet for supervisor review. They say within 45 days but since a LOT of people seem to get supervisor reviews these days, I'm thinking it's gonna be even longer. So we're right there with you and it really really sucks..... :(

Why did you get supervisor review?

Actually, after reading your post, I got so upset I filed a care inquiry with NVC. Let's see what they say. It's been 60 days since our original NVC scan date so getting a little tired of this s**t....

I've heard others in similar situations as us and it seems that the more you contact NVC, the faster they will do the supervisor review. I guess cause they get tired of all the calls?!?! I'm gonna contact NVC again beginning of next week and then towards the end of the week, I'll call again asking to speak to a supervisor. Let's bombard them till we force them to get moving.....

Hay guys,

ill give you a little background on our case.

Original scan date was 24th April received a checklist for DS-260 dated 21st of may on the 4th of june, however my ds-260 was filed on the 1st of may. having called to find out what was going on i was informed to ignore the checklist however there was a document missing and i would be receiving another checklist after finding out i could use the cover sheet from the false check list we sent the document and got our new scan date 8th of june.

noting that the DS-260 had still not been reviewed. calling a couple of weeks later asking for an update. ds-260 had still not been looked at. having been getting quite annoyed with them i decided to leave it until the review date of our checklist was up.

Calling them on the 30 days so 8th of July. DS-260 had still not been reviewed after them having it for over 60 days. was informed that it was flagged for supervisor review a few weeks ago. i waited patiently for another week untill this week i called every day and asked for a supervisor none where ever available requested a call back. our checklist was put under supervisor review too on monday this week.

and we got our cc confirmed yesterday.

my advice would be if you are over time by a couple of weeks and there is not real reason for it eg, your case is striaght forward call everyday and ask to speak to a supervisor. i have heard of people getting through and getting reviews over the phone etc.

Have you heard anything yet? Today is day 61 of our supervisor review and after six emails and ten or something phone calls, we finally got hold of someone who tried putting us through to the supervisor reviewing our case. Of course he wasn't available, but we left our number and waiting for a call back. Not holding our breath on the call back though. Bloody NVC. :ranting:
