Hi our CC is May 1st so i'm keeping an eye on your case, hope you guys get interview soon. I've called the NVC and the embassy and of course they're so unhelpful. Everyone has been telling me the Cairo embassy is one of the slowest ones plus they have to deal with the cases from Yemen.

Is that why the slow down for Egypt now? Even though this time last year actually late 2013 early 2014 it was like 5 months wait after CC so its gotten better.

I believe the extra cases from Yemen have slowed things down but we just got our interview date
