Hey all,

I'm hoping you can help me with this question.

My fiancée (petitioner) got a job Jan 2015 in NYC. She moved from Canada where we met to take the job. She makes 125% over the poverty guidelines, but she hasn't made this much money the last few years, so her tax returns (from Canada) would be below the poverty line.

Will we need a sponsor?

Nope, no sponsor needed. They just care about current year income.

Removing Conditions Timeline

Aug. 10, '17: Mailed in I-751

Aug. 21, '17: NOA1

October 23, '18: NOA2- approval

October 30, 18: 10-year GC received

List current annual income and provide letter from employer and/or recent pay stubs to prove that income amount.
