How to correct one stupid mistake on G325 for K1

Hello everyone!

So, I was confused on what to write down on G325 (occupation section), I wrote and followed what was on all my legal documents here in Dubai when in fact I am not physically working there, I was just under the sponsorship of the company. Now that I am preparing and waiting for interview date it is bothering me a lot. I'm afraid it may affect my future visa journey. Is there any way to make it right, if so, how? And if I leave it the way it is now, what would be the future consequence? Any advice/help will be highly appreciated. Thanks to you all.

Are you saying you lied in the application?

Or are you saying at the time of the fling the information was accurate

but it's no longer correct.

Did you get a new job now or not working anymore?

By any chance, are you a Filipino or Indian expat working in UAE?

Are you still in UAE?

Thanks for your reply! I am From the Philippines working in Dubai for over 8 years.

That's exactly my confusion was..... On my legal documents (employment visa as well as I am also on company payroll) and just not working physically in company I am just under their sponsorship. For example: Visa is under company but not actually working there but the fact is I am working as house keeper for one of the bosses.

You made a mistake you should tell them the truth if you are under XYZ company visa and working with ABC company or free lance then you should mentioned freelance, the visa officer might ask details of your job company name and other info but you lied on your application. this can me make your application doubtful. i would advised since you filled the application once you have interview and if officer asked about your job details tell them the truth.

Thank you! No, I am going to do it in Abu Dhabi.

The Embassy is going to know you went there either on a work visa or a tourist visa and I just don't see this being an issue.

You can take a corrected copy to the actual interview in case it is needed.

Thank you VOL! It confused me actually on what to write down as I am also getting paid from the company as well as all my legal documents. But yeah, I would definitely take a corrected copy on the interview, just in case. So, when I fill up the DS 160, should I write down the correct one and bring a corrected G325? Thank you
