Change of status works only you are in the U.S. I am afraid there is no option for you to have vacation in Canada unless you will return to India to get F-1 Visa stamped on your passport and return to the U.S.

Did you change in America or did you go home to India in between?

I had no issues visiting Canada on my F1 visa though I had gotten it in Sweden before coming to the states. Bring proof that you're actually are studying in case you would encounter issues at the border.

Thank you everyone.... I did change my status in States, I am currently on student visa but I don't have a Stamp Visa on my passport

Then I'm pretty sure you can forget about your trip to Canada. You risk being denied re-entry.
