I purposely am posting this in this section since I am looking at information specifically applicable with the Philippine law or rules of Philippine Citizens who will be traveling out of the country using a tourist visa. Other important information's too are welcome.

So, after receiving the tourist visa, are there still things that needs to be done or are there still requirements or processes that are required to be done in the Philippines prior the departure date?

Thank you!

I don't think there's anything else except double checking that the visa info is correct and fill out whatever forms they give you on the plane. You don't need the CFO seminar since you're not immigrating.

This is what I have read as well. As long as you have a valid tourist visa then you should be good. I know they (Ph Immigration) is scrutinizing that more to try combat human trafficking. So I would just print off everything you have like hotel reservations, flight info, etc. So that they can see that you will come back.

It depends on where you are traveling. They have told girls if they are traveling with their boyfriends back to Australia then they need the CFO.

I have never heard anyone traveling to USA on a Tourist Visa to need CFO

No CFO needed on a tourist visa. Also, I have some airport tax information and information for U.S. Customs and Border Protection on their new customs declaration form that can be filled out and taken along for submitting once they arrive at their POE. The form is found here on my website.

Hi Greenbaum,

My younger sister was issued B1/B2 Visa, she will be travelling with my minor children with an IR2 Visa, my children's passport has the CFO sticker also- They do have travel clearance already from DSWD and just to be sure, I made a notarized letter authorizing her as the accompanying adult for my minor children on their international travel. The biological father also done the same.

About the custom declaration form, will my minor children also fill this out? They are 13 & 14 years old.

I believe they can print this forms, before they leave the Philippines (?)

Thanks!

The data doesn't have to be hand written correct? ( Other than the signature )

You can write it out. No need to fill in the form online if don't want to. Some like to have everything filled out and ready for their trip. If your sister is going to do it on the flight be sure she brings an ink pen.

Good luck.
