should I be worried?

Hi guys,

I was thrilled that my AOS application got approved on Tuesday 6/23/2015 on the spot. But now I am getting really worried, because till now, my case online status still remains " interview is scheduled"

I was wondering if this is really normal or it means they have not approved my case yet? Or the status would not change until they mail me my green card?

Is there anything I could do? should I call USCIS?

I am planing to travel to Japan in July, but now I really dunno when I will be able to receive my green card and leave. UGH!!!

Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

Thank you

A lot of us are in the same boat. Had interview months ago. So shows interview date.

You could schedule an Infopass appointment to talk to someone in person at USCIS. I did and got nowhere, the guy was totally clueless and had no info at all. Later found out that you can ask for a supervisor.

Unfortunately the online status is not 100% reliable. Clearly USCIS are putting our application fees to good use.

Hi

jus a little update. my case status was changed to card mailed to me on July 2nd with no tracking or anything online.

So i have been waiting since then. But i thought green card should be mailed thru 2 day priority, so it cant be this long.

Then I called USCIS yesterday (July 8), and actually talked to a Tier 2 representative. He was really nice n helpful, and he was able to get a tracking number of my card for me. It turned out my green card was mailed out on July 6. So online status was not accurate at all.

And today as of July 9th, I finally received my green card in hand. The waiting was not too long but really annoying like a real torture on my mind, but finally I can say it is officially over. :P

and good luck to you 10pmstalker. I hope everything is coming to ur way. :goofy:
