Guys unfortunately my visa refused they need original document of my joint sponsor and w2 with clear copy of green card and they need letter from my family in case we are going to stay with our families or contract in case of lease a house one more point they told me to let my wife travel before me to USA

They told me to come back when all the above ready

Hi sam,

Just want to ask if you were given a checklist prior to ur interview sched or were u already case completed? Why is the embassy just asking this from u now? And the contract of lease, were they asking for a proof that u and ur family will be living in that same address together?

@guillermorjoanna... May i just re phrase what did u say, just check me if im wrong... Did u mean the original i864 and i864a are required for u to submit... But if u submit them in scanned or photocopy even the signature is original, they will not accept it?

Im not sure about that, but for what i have known is it forms must be download online...but u can ask other if it is acceptable...im not sure about that but read this i hope it will help you the letter they send to my husband

- so during ur interview, you were asked to give this. Yes u need to give the original form with signatures of the i-864 and i-864 of the joint sponsor or i864a if its a household member

But were u able to send this to them when u submitted or aos or not?

May i know when u submitted ur AOS and financial evidence to NVC?

Because I think maybe when u submitted ur AOS to NVC, you are still meeting the minimum income using the old version of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.

I just checked USCIS and i see that the Federal Poverty Guidelines was updated last march 1, 2015. So maybe u submitted ur AOS to NVC before march 1,2015 and maybe during that time you are looking at the old version of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. And probably the reason why u didnt get a checklist from NVC is because during the time that u submitted ur AOS to them, you are still meeting it based on the old version.

So i guess we should all check when we submitted our AOS to NVC and see if we are still meeting the minimum income based on the documents we sent them using the most updated Federal Poverty Guidelines.

Here is the link:

http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-864p.pdf

Because mine, i remember that the AOS we submitted has an income of 48k which is to support a household of 5 (me, husband, son and my husband's mom and dad, because we used them as household members). So looking at the most updated Federal Poverty Guidelines, we are still meeting the household income for 5 which should be 35k.

So guys maybe we should all check and see if we are still meeting the income requirements. if you know that you're not meeting the poverty guidelines anymore based on the most recent Federal Poverty Guidelines from USCIS, then maybe we should start preparing our new i-864 together with sponsors and other financial evidence and bring them to the interview.
