Yes because child will not have addtional time for cspa age. Child will age out in no time as priority date is june 2015 only. There is no chance for child to qualify under cspa because it will take couple of years for priority date to be current. F2b is long time wait so good luck.

11/27/2013 - Priority Date

04/01/2015 - I-130 Approved

04/21/2015 - NVC received Case

04/29/2015 - DS261 filled

05/02/2015 - Case under CSPA review

06/04/2015 - Supervisor review Initiated-Wait 42 days

Hi,

The beneficiary will age out into the F2b category at age 21.

With only 3 months until the 21st birthday, it means that a PD must be available within 3 months after the I-130 is approved to benefit under CSPA and be able to retain the F2a category. It could happen but is highly unlikely. There is nothing you can do except wait and hope.

Best of luck.

Thanks all.

So F2b estimate about 7 to 8 yrs? After parents become US Citizen (5yrs later), will the adult child (21+) processing change to a faster process?

Could someone explain what this mean? I don't understand.

PD date June 3, 2015: Since the cut-off date is in 2008 for F2b, I have to wait until the cut-off date somewhat more than my PD and same as for F2a? Am I correct?

Yep

She can keep an eye on the movement, do bear in mind that the date does not progress smoothly, and that date just tells you how long somebody getting to the front now has waited, not how long she will.

But it is as good a guess as any.

I see no harm filing, but with the longer categories no point putting your life on hold, take a view when you are a year or so out if this is still something you wish to follow through on.
