So, I tried to register online for the visa delivery address for my son through 2go.....It seems they will not let me finish the process unless I schedule the embassy interview.

Did anybody else have this experience???

Please help......

You do not schedule delivery through 2GO, you do that with USEM/NVC, visa will be delivered to the home address listed unless you specify another address.

Yes, I understand that....I think maybe I wrote the sentence wrong.

I am registering through USEM Manila........It requires that I schedule an interview before it lets me complete the process

My son lives out in the province, so I am worried about delivery

I was hoping to have delivery at SM.

You are an immigrant visa, NVC does the scheduling so you have to be patient in that regard. As for delivery instructions, I would have thought NVC would have a section somewhere on a form for you for delivery instructions. I don't see this concern with other immigrant visas which is why I think NVC does ask. Just the same, once you have your interview appointment update delivery on the account you are setting up, OR at the last window after the interview update deliver to SM.

Yes you should have an interview date first before you can register for 2GO.

Are you the one scheduling the interview or NVC?

If NVC sent you the interview letter, you can fill out the 2GO delivery card at the embassy.

Yes, I know it is an immigrant visa.....This is my 3rd time petitioning an immigrant visa.....

My son already has an interview date.....hence my problem......NVC schedules the interview

but the delivery process has changed.....It use to be that you request your visa delivery address at the interview

but now they want you to online the visa delivery address through USEM website......and they want you to schedule your interview during this process

I can't.....he already has an interview date.

NVC schedules the interview date for all immigrant visas......My son has an interview date

But they still want me to schedule an interview date before I can complete the online registration for visa delivery.

Government websites......yuck.

Not sure what is going on when you try to complete the account, are you making sure to choose immigrant visa when doing the setup?

Yep.....the first question it asks is what type of visa......and I check "Immigrant".

I think I will call the embassy call center.........I have only had to do that 1 time before.......not a fun process.....under paid call center workers.

I'm asking because in some instances, immigrant visa chasers can also schedule their interview (ex: expedite, re-schedule).

I remember not long ago this topic was discussed but I don't remember the outcome. You may want to do a search on some key terms here on VJ for that thread.
