ASAK,

Need to know if US Embassy Islamabad allow US Citizen petitioner (K-1 Fiancée visa) to come with the beneficiary, since I (US Citizen petitioner) am considering to come to Pakistan and be with my fiancée when she will be there for the interview. Please advise.

Green Card finally received yesterday.

My advice, guys, is to make GC payment to USCIS as soon as visa is in hand. Don't delay until buying ticket or arriving in the US. Current GC processing times are 2+ months. Until your GC turns up, your Pakistani passport is your only form of id (until you get driving license/state id), and you need to carry it around to identify yourself all the time. For most large purchases and deals (rental agreement, car lease, health insurance, bank account, etc) they'll want to know your citizenship/immigration status and will ask to see your visa/GC anyway, even if you show driver's license/state id. That's a bit of a pain. GC makes things go easier.

Yup, you can go to the interview at Isl embassy, and it helps strengthen the case if you do.

Speaking as the US citizen who attended interview of husband and son.

You can only do this after receiving your visa, as your A-number will be on your visa. You will also need a credit card. If you don't have your own credit card, you can use somebody else's and pay them in cash.

http://www.uscis.gov/tools/how-do-i-customer-guides/how-do-i-pay-uscis-immigrant-fee

• Go to www.uscis.gov/uscis-elis to review USCIS online
filing resources.
• Select “Log in.”
• Next, select “USCIS Immigrant Fee.”
• Enter your Alien Registration Number and DOS Case ID,
found at the top of your USCIS Immigrant Fee handout. If you
are paying for additional family members, you can add their
Alien Registration Numbers and DOS Case IDs.
• Provide a valid credit card (Visa, Master Card, American Express,
or Discover Card), debit card, or U.S. bank checking account
information (account number and bank routing number).
If you are unable to pay the USCIS Immigrant Fee yourself, you
may choose someone to pay the fee for you. For example: a family
member, friend, employer, attorney, or accredited representative.
