Actually it happens due to lost of hardware... We normally schedule a backup after some regular intervals say...12am...and full backup in Sunday. Unfortunately and probably hardware corruption happen in between... Still I must say its too long...

Yes Qazze you are right I am really confused about this NVC process how does they work and how come only some of the applications go out of the Queue :( and its really sad that I don't know how many people are suffering because of that stupid website issues that happened in May.

Its a normal EA governance model ;)

Yeah qazze now I got it and the person who designed this NVC case process didnt think about the fail-over situations like what happens when the NVC process order is messed up.

what about your Case status Qazze are you done with process or still waiting for the CC and what is your PD?

Actually whatever we are doing the data crash in caae hardware crash is very. Very rare thing... Like 0.01%.

My PD is in Feb-14 but my case is in progress. Just 11 days before NVC acknowledged me in a call some more

documents required but still have no email regarding checklist.. LoL

Even for checklist my case escalated to supervisor.

Trust me....email automation is a simplest process... NVC acquired services of amazing engineers ;)

I know that it’s not funny but I could not stop laughing J it’s really pathetic that to get an checklist email it got escalated to supervisor so that means it looks like your case might have taken the wrong direction J so now what to do my friend.

I don’t know which direction my case is in and I stopped calling the NVC and stopped taking unnecessary stress L

I don’t know how is friend @amna-h doing not heard anything from him lately

This week i called NVC, i was very surprised to know that if your case is handled electronically( means if you have scan the civil or finance document by email) then you need to email nvcelectronic@state.gov for any query and on subject line put your case number and in body of email pls put petitioner and beneficiary name, date of birth, relationship, etc so they can update and verify you in their system.

I was so annoyed to hear that but lady was nice ( some of them are nice but nice is not going to help our process is it?) and working for nvc for long time. she also told me that people here at nvc are human being and can do error and still doing error coz many ppl there dont know what to handle the query as query can be difficult and unique to each other to us. so i was so socked that i may not able to speak to human on the phone and any query will be dealt by email as such. they made so difficult to know the process.

Any one has more information better than me? share to us and cheer to us.

Hey guys.. sorry for being missing. Like u said.. i just stopped calling nvc because every time i got same answer and ending up being depressed. I was makin my husband call the senator office instead.

Well guyss.. i finally called nvc yesterday and found out my case has been completed!! The agent said it was completed on 22nd september. And i receieved an email of case completion today.

So i really dont knw if it happened on its own.. like it took 2 months and 14 days! Or it happened cuz of senators help. Last feedback we got from senators office was tht they hav put in an inquiry at NVC about our case on 18th sept. So it could be.. and you should try to contact ur local state senator..it wouldnt hurt to try :)
