In order to improve the efficiency and consistency of responses to the public, the Visa Office established one point of contact for all domestic inquiries regarding nonimmigrant and immigrant visa cases. The National Visa Center (NVC) began handling all domestic inquiries from the public on nonimmigrant and immigrant visa cases on Monday, January 12, 2015. Immigrant visa inquirers should use (603) 334-0700 to reach an NVC operator. Nonimmigrant visa inquirers should call the NVC at (603) 334-0888.

Hi there,

we received NOA2 on 15th April 2015 and we are still without any feedback from NVC. I guess it is standard procedure to wait more than one month?

No! I have heard that TSC sends the petitions to NVC faster than CSC does; however, are you a DCF?

No, we are not DCF. So something went wrong there?

I'm not sure. I thought you were DCF because your profile says your filing place was at the embassy.

Does your USCIS status say transferred?

When have you called NVC?

I only had to call three different times and I've never gotten an answering machine. The phone queue will either let you wait on hold, or will tell you to call back and kick you off. If you are allowed to hold, then you need to wait it out. All three times got me to the first representative rather quickly. This one confirms or denies case receipt. If they have your case, they transfer you to another person, and that wait is much, much longer.

Let us know how it goes! Keep us posted.

We called there last week and they told us, they´ve got 35 days of period to proceed, which is actually just today. I wrote there email yesterday asking about any information, so I hope to get feedback.

I will update you, thanks for your support! :)

@ Radka & Keith

If NVC has not received even after a month, it's time to call USCIS and ask a Tier 2 officer, where is your approved petition. nVC can't help you until they receive your file. You need to check with USCIS why they have not sent the file yet. A tier 2 officer will have all the information you need.
