Still waiting on NVC too! 2 weeks for us. Not too bad. Trying to stay hopeful that it won't take the 35 days. The girl on the phone told me 35 plus another 4-6 weeks for them to process.

Also, I just found out today that the lawyer who entered my I-129F petition put my postal code in my address totally wrong. Do you guys think I should tell NVC to correct it? Or wait till it goes to the Embassy? I'm really stressing. I had the form totally filled out myself and then I guess she typed it all out. I'd rather just do it myself haha. Really annoyed about it! Oh well...

Probably better to correct it sooner than later, especially since the embassy needs to send you packet 3 in the mail.

Yay ?

So while I'm now sitting on delaying the medical I've been thinking of the rest of this long journey... not just the rest of the K1 & the wedding but the long process after that!!

AOS will be going in with the AP & EAD applications as soon as we're married then having looked even further down the line I think that I'd like to go down the citizenship route after the first 3years.

What's everyone else planning on doing?

We're pretty much doing everything as soon as possible. We're planning on filing for AOS/AP/EAD literally the day after we get married, and my fiancé wants to be a citizen as soon as he can be. Maybe a few years from now, we will finally be free of all this immigration paperwork! Haha.

Thank you, good to know! We have all the paperwork we need then other then the medical exam. Can't wait until all this is over. But all this hard work we are doing will be rewarding in the end. =)

I will join this April NOA2 thread even though I mailed our package in on March 17. The reason is I mailed it in from Thailand and that throws the timing off a bit as opposed to mailing it from within the US. The I-129F was received (NOA1) on 4/3/2015. Email notice of routing to CSC on 4/7/2015.

We received our NOA2 dated 5/5/2015. At this time we are still waiting for word from the NVC…any word. We have not received any communication since the hardcopy of the NOA2 and it’s been impossible for me to get through on the phones at NVC from Thailand.

No more emails since the one on 4/7/2015.

Last time I called NVC, they told me they don't send any e-mails or letters. You have to call them. :( I know it's frustrating, but try calling as soon as they open or right before they close. It may take A LOT of calls but you will get through eventually.

Thanks for the encouragement, but I have called on both ends of the their open timeframe (early and late). It's eating up my Skype credit at a prodigious rate. Remember, I'm calling from Thailand.

I have read many times on here where people have finally received notification their package was received at the NVC. Heck, I could care less if it's email or by snail mail just as long as we hear something soon.

We are at 1 month and 2 days from the NOA2 notice date, but I do see this is not uncommon so I'm not in a panic, just fidgety.

I'm not sure how soon you would get a response from an online inquiry about your case, but worth a shot! I found this link to contact NVC online http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/contact/ask-nvc.html

Yep, found that link also and submitted a query that way.

We’ll see how long that takes to get an answer. I bet my package will be at the embassy before I get an answer.

I use an app on my phone called magic jack. Gives free calls to the usa. I only downloaded the standard app package to my phone. To just call the NVC I didn't need to buy any add ons.

Not sure if it'll work from Thailand but don't see why it shouldn't?
