F4 Category is for siblings of US citizens.

USCIS may approve the petition within 1-2 years depending upon the location of the service center in which your I130 Petition was sent. But Visa will not be available untill the priority date is current.

So USCIS processes it and than it goes to NVC which will give him a priority date.

Priority date is set by USCIS when they recieve the I30 petition, in this case PD is July 2014. NVC will process the rest of the procedures of visa application like fees collection Affidafit of support forms, civil documents etc.

With something like this it can take a long time as there is no rush.

With something like this it can take a long time as there is no rush.

I knew that it takes about 10 to 12 years for the whole process I just didnt know the specific periods it takes at each department. We learn something new everyday lol.
