Now when I log in it is at least not saying that the numbers don't match their records. I'm getting this message. Anyone else seeing the same?

The same old message for me. Nothing's change. One that says does not match our records. If you're getting different now maybe you ought to call them and find out more.

Totally stucked.....Cant go ahead.....want to pay IV fees since 2 weeks .....still cant access payment portal

Just called NVC and got with a CSR...she told me that the problem is with their end.....but cant tell when it will be over...

She told me that she is putting a notice to supervisor that the petitioner is not able to pay fees n she asked me to check after couple of days or end of week....

lets see what happens next...

Agreed....but they have to fix this anyhow....coz all applicants from all categories r waiting...and if an applicant has submitted all documents but just IV fees and ds260 is pending....he/she can't be scheduled for an interview....

This will impact visa bulletin movement for preference based categories ...as well as Immediate relatives..

They have the same answer about the problem...their few days turned into weeks, I hope not but it could turn to a month too or worst. Are they gonna extend time the limit of those who can't finish their paperwork easily or make it hard too? This is beyond our control for sure.

well.....I suggest that all the IR-1/CR-1 applicants make a lot of noise...because sure as hell no-one will listen to us F2A applicants!

Sad, that the portal has been down so many days. Is there something that can be down about this, i.e. report somewhere other than call in and hear the CSR tell us that no timeframe when it will be fixed.

well.....I suggest that all the IR-1/CR-1 applicants make a lot of noise...because sure as hell no-one will listen to us F2A applicants!

In an IR-1 applicant and I just sent an email inquiry to NVC about the matter or if they can give alternatives or options in processing while the CEAC is not working. We're stuck in DS-261 and we couldnt pay the AOS unless we do that. Maybe they can at least send the dS-261 via fax, mail or phone so we can at least pay the AOS and move along. But we'll see if we get a reply soon. Will update as soon as I get answers from them.

I sent the NVC an email inquiry a little over a week ago. Still no news from them. Ive been stuck for half the month of May over a stupid system problem. I can't believe its taking them so long to fix it

@debi - I don't think there is no other option for paying DS-261...it has to be done online. Personally, I think it is best to wait for the ceac site than to send in paper payment which will just get lost in that bottomless pit called NVC.

I wonder if US citizens can also contact their congressmen and women and lodge a complaint. You have a lot more clout than us permanent residents

Actually I know, I just did that to stir them a little bit and maybe hopefully put up a action plan because all of us stuck will soon create that major traffic. They are bound to give us better answers or alternatives which could be optional. All those who attempted to call gets the same answer which is "they don't know when" or just "check again in a few more days" its kind of unusual that such as important process in their system is malfunctioning or inaccessible and taking that long to be operational again. Something must be up but we don't know that either. But yeah lets hope it gets fixed soon or come up with another solution. Anyways, good luck to all of us. May God shower us more patience.
