Good morning VJ's

I was hoping for some good news today, but we still have to wait

NOA2 04/06/2015

Sent to NVC 04/17/2015

NVC received 04/24/2015

Still no case# (6th business day today)

So, while waiting I have complied the AOS and the IV package

But I have a question regarding the AOS and am hoping that someone can put my mind at ease.

I am a self employed, so here is what I have gathered

-Tax return for 2014 ( all pages and 1099's received)

-IRS transcripts for 2013 and 2012

-Copies of the two DBA filed with the county, showing my name and the DBA name (linking those together)

-Bank accounts statements Jan-April 2015 , showing the name and the DBA on the statement

-Letter with my company logo explaining the history of my company and how long have I been in business, licenses I have...

Considering that the 2014 reported income is above the poverty guidelines, would this package be enough or should I provide more info?

TIA

Happy Monday

When you login, you should see a N/A under Affidavit of Support Fee and Affidavit of Support Documents & Financial Evidence. The 3rd N/A should be under Civil

Documents.

Thank you Marcoz, Where do you check these Affidavit of Support Fee and Affidavit of Support Documents & Financial Evidence. The 3rd N/A should be under Civil Documents.

since you are self employed, please ensure you include all the Schedules (C, D, E, F) that you filled with your tax returns for years 2014, 2013, 2012 ...

please include bank account statements only if you are planning on using your asset in addition to business income to meet income requirements...otherwise, no need to include bank statements

So, even if I have the IRS transcript, I still have to provide the schedules? I know I will for 2014, but for the prior as well?

Thank you

Hey everyone.

I called and had my DS-261 reviewed over the phone on Thursday night. The IV fee is yet to be invoiced in my account. Is this within normal processing times? I was under the impression that it'd take around 3 days to appear, and today is the 4th day. I'm getting antsy! I don't think I've ever been more anxious to pay a bill. :P

ArroTG, I guess the standard time for the fees to become available is 7 days, and that's seven working days, not calendar days. Just be patient (as frustrating as it feels)!

Thanks for the reply :). The agent told me it would be a week, but I've seen several other timelines with more immediate action, so I wanted to make sure I had my bases covered. Your comment's helped to sooth my nerves.

ArroTG, we have very similar timelines and, after our 261 was reviewed over the phone, it took about three working days for the bill to appear but I was told to expect longer. You also get an email telling you there's a new bill but with us the email still preceded the bill's actual appearance by about 6 hours.

Good luck!

Thank you

IRS transcript also includes Schedules...so, just transcript is sufficient if you are sending transcripts that you got from IRS...
