Please create a timeline so others can know where you are in the process. Anyhow the 60 days is what NVC needs to complete the process of your case, however they have reduced it to 45 days. These days starts from when they receive your AOS and IV documents and scans them into their system. Please note that this is possible so long as they don't require anything from you meaning you submitted everything they required of you with no errors or omissions or misplacement within their office! If all goes well they are actually completing with only about 30 days now, then you move to another phase of waiting for the interview to be scheduled by NVC to your consulate abroad. That has been the slowest for the last few weeks. Check around this site you will get a lot of info. Good luck.

if AOS says N/A, most people have case complete... if you have completed all of the NVC steps (pay fees, submit documents, and fill out forms) and this N/A is showing... call NVC and see if they can confirm your case complete....

also, fill out timeline as it helps others to help you

What happened? Did you have a case complete? I think I have a similar situation. I was waiting for the IV fee to become available online so I sent in all the documents for the AOS and IV checklist and finished paying all the fees ahead of the application itself. Now I am just getting the IV application done and wonder what time frame to expect the Case Complete. I wonder if there is a delay caused by not having the application finished. Will they only review the documents after the application is finished or will it be 60 days from the scan date.. :sleepy:

no news so far.

15 days have passed since I completed the DS-260

Can anyone tell me what the scan date is

I sent the documents a long time ago on feb -27

Yes, I got my scan date from the email they sent saying that the documents were received. That one with the "due to increased cases sent to NVC from USCIS allow 60 days for review" message. I wonder if its 60 days from the day the application is finished... I only question that because normally one would wait until the application is finished before sending the documents. Although, I sent my documents early because I thought it would cut down on the processing time and I could finish the application later. I thought it would be like, finish DS 260 and BOOM CASE COMPLETE. LOL nope.

I called NVC last week to have my DS261 reviewed. The gentleman who assisted us there said they were down to 30 days to review. Bodes well for all of us waiting!!
