Medical done! How long should I wait before the interview?

8 posts in this topic

Hi and good day. I had finished my medical last week. They said it will take them 2-3 days for the results to be done. And if I don't hear from them in 2-3 days, then it means that they have forwarded my results to the US embassy here in London. I was told that it can take upto 6 weeks, before they send the letter with the interview date, but I have read somewhere that it is sometimes shorter. I haven't received my interview date letter yet. I am a bit anxious, excited and impatient all at the same time. Every time I open my postbox, I could hear the "dun dun duuun" ( insert: Sloth from The Croods :idea: ) Maybe I am just too excited to receive the interview letter . So my question is, for those who had finished with their interview, how long is the typical wait time from medical to interview date?

Additional question, to those who had passed the interview, how long did you had to wait before you received your visa? :clock::clock:

Hi.. I'm sorry if I need to ask this again. On Thursday, it will be 2 weeks since my medical. Is there anything else that you need to do before they send you the letter? I filled the online DS160, I have done the medical, and I have submitted my notification of applicants readiness form. Am I missing something? Is there something that I forgot to do?

I apologize if I am being impatient, it's just that it is a little bit frustrating, this waiting. How long does it take before you get the interview letter, after the medical?:cry:
