Abu Dhabi US Embassy Interview Wait Time & Load

Hello All,

I recently got my wife CR1 case completed by NVC on 3/24. I called NVC multiple times and each time i get the same generic response: "You case has been completed on 3/24 and is currently waiting be scheduled at Abu Dhabi Embassy. We don't have an estimate when that would be"

I checked some recent similar timelines and it looks like all cases related to Abu Dhabi get scheduled within 2 weeks from the "case completion" date.

So far it has been almost 3 weeks and i haven't heard anything back form NVC regarding the interview date. So far the process has been so frustrating and we have a big family event in May which i don't think my wife would be able to make it.

I was wondering if anyone here is in the same situation? anyone knows what is the current wait time for Abu Dhabi Embassy ? are they loaded with a lot of cases? and is there anything i can do to speed up the process?

Thanks in advance :)

We got case complete last week. We are also waiting for our interview to be scheduled at Abu Dhabi. I know there is another VJ member also recently got case complete from the UAE. I hope we all get our interviews scheduled soon.

According to dhweels spreadsheet, very few interviews have been scheduled at any embassy since March 25th. Hopefully, things will kick into gear soon.

I went K1 route and my file went there originally. It is a very busy embassy and I know for K1 it's about 2.5 months to be scheduled, I don't know in your case. I needed to get my file out of there and for over a month they would not even reply to my e-mails.

I wanted to let you know we got our interview scheduled one week after our case complete (April 9th). Then it was scheduled for May 7th! Very fast! Things must be slow in Abu Dahbi right now.

I do not know. You could always ask. It is my understanding that it takes at least one week after the interview for the visa to be ready.
