He's creepy, and funny, and single-handedly made a commercial success, but this Rob Lowe proves that Comcast is more thin-skinned than the attendees of an all-liberal rally.

Comcast Wins Fight Against Directv’s Creepy, Hairy Versions Of Rob Lowe

Crazy Hairy Rob Lowe might need help shaving off those arm hair curtains, but he doesn't need to upgrade from cable to DirecTV, advertising industry self-regulators have ruled. Rob Lowe stars in a series of DirecTV ads that compare the standard, suave version of the actor with cable-subscribing alter egos that suffer from substantial personal problems. Super Creepy, Crazy Hairy, Painfully Awkward, and Scrawny Arms Rob Lowe all have cable; the not-creepy, mostly hairless, not-awkward, and strong arms Rob Lowe has DirecTV.

Comcast was, bar none, the worst cable TV and internet service provider that I have ever been subjected to. They were unreliable and expensive, and you pretty much needed to take a day off from work to even get to a live person on their customer service line.

I've had relatively good luck with Comcast in all aspects except pricing. They are expensive but I'm willing to pay so long as I don't lose my picture during a rain or snow storm. I hated Dish Network for that reason.

We have time warner. Pretty fun watching your bill go up and up for no reason other than you're less and less a new customer. We added HBO this week to catch the new season of Game of Thrones. After its over, we may try something else. Maybe sling box or something. Too old to do things illegally like bit torrent and too much going on to dedicate time to seasons of shows like on netflix. We just want a few channels, that we actually want to watch, we can flip through.

Overly paranoid Rob Lowe was my fave, kinda reminds me of some of the peeps here on VJ.

He's a funny man, but you really need to pay less attention your reflection.

:hehe:

Anyone who has not seen "The Invention of Lying" needs to add that movie to the top of their viewing list.
