I've been browsing the forums for a while, thought it was time to join and say hi :)

Filed for AoS (I-485) with the Texas Processing Center...guess you can imagine the rest: filed May 29, 2014, the website still shows "Fingerprint fee received" since beginning of June; went to biometrics appointment around end of June, got EAD around August and that's pretty much it.

Filed a Service Request on March 7, still no answer; called a couple of times the USCIS number, spoke with a representative - very kind but you always get a "wait one more month (or two), if you have no news yet call us again - thanks".

Honestly, it's just aggravating to have to wait months and months with no news whatsoever and have to renew the EAD, the driver license etc. .. but at least I am living in the States so my situation is nothing to complain about, compared with what I read in the forums (and I am truly sorry about); still, one wonders why the process should be so unbalanced among the centers (just to beat the dead horse).

All the best, Erminio
