None of my business NadineK91, but you waited 5 years to file?!??

Kirsty

I waited five years as well. When I met my fiance in 2010, he was in the Canadian Military at the time and wasn't ready to entertain moving to the US so we continued to just "date" (as much as we could while he was deployed and our only communication was Skype) and started to discuss living together in early 2013. It wasn't until last year when he left the military that we finally met in person and he proposed.

Occasionally when I see someone chide me for suggesting people relax a bit over the wait, I remember how long it took to even get to meet my fiance in person let alone wait for a petition to be approved.

My relationship is also on the long side! We started talking in 2007 and I didn't go down there for the first time until May 2009, and we didn't start the process til now. Distance is tough, but we wanted to wait for him to be done University and have a career, which took a hell of a lot longer than wanted but he is worth the wait.

08.10.2007- Started talking on IMDb
05.30.2009- Met in person
06.07.2014- Got engaged

Gosh, I can't imagine going through this long distance thing for so long. My fiancé and I met through work when I was sent to the US for 6 months. I've been back home a year next week and it just feels like the longest time. Thankfully we've lucked out with plenty of opportunities to see each other in that time, but it still sucks being apart. It's made me really appreciate the little things like cooking and eating dinner together.

Thanks to Anna for sending me here :)

Sooo nice to finally have a "hate free" convo here :)

I am also an April filer. My fiance is from Texas so we should have obviously been routed to TSC but we received a WAC receipt number...so CSC it is.

Some dates:

i-129f send off: 06/04/2015

electronic NOA-1: 10/04/2015

No paper NOA-1 yet...

Glad to have joined the group and I hope we will all get some more good news this month :energy:

Hi Nadine!!

Good morning guys.

We just started our journey earlier this month. We got our first notification via sms April 6th and was able to view online "my case has been received" on the same day.

Today during our skype date I was telling my F how to use uscis web page to track our case but we got this:

"At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the NCSC 1 (800) 375-5283 for additional information"

Does anyone know what this means? Are they making updates to the website?

Thanks In advance!

Anna.

Hello Anna,

I just checked the website but mine seemed to be working. I got the same message it said before, "we have received your I129F..." Maybe it's a server problem, I'd suggest to keep on trying the website. Have a nice day.

Nadine, I just downloaded the app, added the receipt number in My Cases as you suggest, but there is no information.

Case status update: (empty)

Case details: (empty)

LUD: Upgrade (no idea what does this mean)

Will chill out for a couple of days...I guess is too soon to panic! lol :pop:

Hey all!

I was over on the March filers forum, but was told I might need to be considered an April filer, since I didn't get my NOA until April. Not sure, but I thought I'd come over and say "hey" anyway! Some of the other threads are getting a little down as well, and y'all seem to be pretty upbeat, so I hope you don't mind me joining you!

I am a filer from Alabama and was supposed to go to TSC, but was sent straight to CSC instead.

My case on the USCIS site also has no information given. It was working just fine until a few days ago. I think that's been common, so I wouldn't worry about it. I assume it means that your case is actually being worked on, or needs to be updated, and it takes a few days to come up on the site. So I see it as a good thing! It probably means your status is about to go to the next step!

Here's wishing speedy processes for everyone filing!

K-1 Visa Timeline

April 15, 2014 - Met online

August 23, 2014 - Met in person! M. comes over to visit me in US for a week.

January 31, 2015 - I go over to UK to visit M. for three weeks.

March 28, 2015 - Sent I-129F packet to Dallas

March 31, 2015 - Received at Dallas Lockbox, sent to CSC

April 2, 2015 - NOA1 email/text notification received

April 3, 2015 - Check cashed

April 8, 2015 - NOA1 hardcopy received in mail

May 6, 2015 - NOA2 email notification received (34 days from NOA1)

May 16, 2015 - M. comes over for another visit in the US for two weeks

May 19, 2015 - Officially engaged!!

June 4, 2015 - M. receives packet 3 from London Embassy

July 17, 2015 - M.'s medical in London

Welcome HeyM,

glad to see that you were lucky just like most of us and got routed to CSC as well.

Also, thanks for publishing your timeline with us and I was sooo glad to find this group as well.

I know many people say that we are screwed just like TSC people since CSC will be backlogged soon but actually we all filed within 2 weeks after the CSC routing started so we are still "save" from having to wait for months and month ****hopefully**** :)

Keep us updated and good luck on your journey :)
