We sent our package on april 1 and today we have just received an email telling that our case is on transit to nepraska

and what is thrthe i797 form?

The I-797 will be your NOA2 When you are approved you will receive a I-797 (NOA2) approval letter.(Notice of Action)

The I-797C will be what you will get soon. It will have your receipt number on it so you can register it on uscis.gov and track your status.

Case Complete to Interview spreadsheet

yes that is your NOA1

the I797 form is just the hardcopy letter of the NOA1. It will state the same thing the e-mail stated

when your petition is approve at the Nebraska service center, you will receive another e-mail saying your petition has been approve. That will be your NOA2 you will also receive another I797 form in the mail stating the same thing as the-mail
