Just returned from my interview and we were approved on the spot! I was so stressed out heading to the interview, and it was all for no reason. The man who interviewed us was so nice and made us so comfortable. We answered a few yes/no questions and other than that the only question he asked was how my husband and I met. I think the whole thing took about 10 minutes. He congratulated us and told us the green card would be in the mail. I can't stop smiling!

My advice to everyone is to just be positive, keep good thoughts, and don't get too stressed out. Everything will be fine! Thanks everyone for their well wishes and advice. Best of luck to everyone here!

Finally received my green card! Here's my timeline.

04/28/2015 - Received NOA

05/21/2015 - Biometrics done

07/07/2015 - EAD approved

07/09/2015 - new address update requested

07/21/2015 - new address updated (after several phone calls)

07/29/2015- EAD received

09/09/2015 - Interview done!

10/08/2015 - Received green card in mail. Yay!!! :)

I updated my address online which USCIS never updated in the system. I had to call them several times to make sure they have my new address. Luckily, everything worked out well. In terms of interview, my interviewer was nice, very straightforward and smile at times. My interview took about 15 minutes and I was approved on the spot. Most of the questions she asked was about information that's on the file already, and some questions about our marriage/new documents I brought with me. That's it! Wasn't too bad.

Good luck everyone who has upcoming interviews!

I went for my interview today. The IO kept us waiting till they attended to everyone else before telling me that they want to start recording the interviews and that she wanted to start with me. The IO was very rude and aggressive, I guess the fact that I and my spouse have a different address raised all the red flags. Anyway, she based almost all her questions on our living arrangement. She didn't open the photo album nor check our emails and text message . Finally, after interviewing us separately with much scrutiny, she gave me a form stating that our interview us being held for review. Hopefully I get approved soon...I answered all the questions pretty well though. Success to everyone going for interview soon!!!
