Hello everybody !

I was also approved on April 20, but my case status on USCIS site is still "Approved".. I guess I have to wait for the "Sent to the Department of State" status to start calling the NVC, right ?

Same thing with my case, but I did my first call last night, they dont have anything yet but I'll keep trying. It shouldnt take more than 15 or 20 days.

Oo ok ! Well I hope our status will change soon so we can move on with this :)

If you could let us know when they receive your petition it would be cool to have an idea of when we can call them

I have a little question maybe someone here may know the answer.. What are exactly the vaccinations required for the k1 visa ?! I'm 22 years old and for what I have understand it depends on the age.. If someone can help me out thank you !! :)

Thanks and good luck for the next steps !! We are almost there :dancing:

I just called the NVC and got my case # but it shows "your search did not return any data" when I track my case via NVC tracking system. Any one knows what happens?

Happened to me too! The woman I spoke with at NVC said that they were assigned the day I called and it would take at least a day to upload online. Check again tomorrow and call if they still aren't showing up. You are probably fine!

NVC received my case today (4/29) and said it takes up to 4 weeks to get a case number :( is this true?

Sometimes Nvc assigns the case number the day after they receive the case, dont worry,it shouldnt take long.

What did they ask you when u call NVC? Since i dont a case # yet, I wonder if the uscis # would work.

I can't say for sure, but it seems like I just gave my USCIS # and then they asked me a couple questions to verify that it was my case.

Yep! I'm actually a lawyer and I work in a big firm that helps other people do immigration related things all the time, so our HR knew exactly what to put and it literally says:

J is employed by _______________

She has been working since _____________

Her annual salary is _______________

On letterhead

Thank you so much! I really appreciate your help! :)
