I filed a K1 petition for my fiancee on Aug 12,2014 and received the NOA1 after 2 weeks.

But, I haven't received the NOA2 until today I wrote this post. It has already been 8 months since the first NOA1.

I tried to submitted the first E-Inquiry through the USCIS website on Jan 2015, and they replied that my case is on hold because of the required security check remain pending. And, on March,2015 I submitted the second E-Inquiry again, however, the replied is on hold for securty checks. But they provided me a number for followup my petition if no response within 180.

Is anyone here has the same situation? I really need to know what's going on in my petition. Because I think USCIS is trying to do a testing about the love between I and my fiancee. :clock: :clock:

PS: I got first DUI in 2009 and the case had been expunged. Unfortunately, I seem like never learn anything from the first, I picked up the second DUI on Sep 2014, and the second is waiting from pre-trial. Just would like to make sure that wherther or not the 2 DUIs are going to affect my petition?

Really apprecaite if anyone here can help, since my petition has already been 8 months, thanks.

Seems very odd for CSC.

Have you called and asked to talk to a tier 2?

Have you thought about getting your local congressman involved?

I suggest you call the number to see if you can get specifics about the security checks.

No, I do not make call and talk to tier2. I think that I should wait 180 days if no response from USCIS.

If you are going to wait for 6 months... I dont get why are you creating a thread on what can you do?

We have been pending about the same time as you, but for a IR1 visa.

The same response first and second requests: case is on hold.

We will move onto Ombudsman though I believe there is nothing they can do to help.
