Happens all the time many have reported here about that. You are in AP it is expected. Were you asked for a contact sheet after interview? What is it they suspect how did your interview go what were the issues?

All you can do is hope for the best and hope whatever information they got satisfies them.

Yes i was given a contact sheets after our Petition was reaffirmed during my second interview. As regard my being investigated i can not say for sure as to why.All i can say is that,my wife & I had so many challenges & issues which were seen as red flags.Maybe my parents absence on the day of my marriage or my previous DV entry in which the agent wrongly attached my brother's & cousin's kids to my entry were reasons for the Consulate doubting my marital status before marrying my wife. We're thankful that the Consulate visited & interviewed myself & my land lady, possibly they've interviewed my other neighbours.I sometimes find it difficult to accept the fact that people can hide a previous marriage when there are records by the government, even if it is traditional which has no record with government but has eye witnesses who knows of it,which if these are contacted can testify to the fact.If you live with a woman people knows, even if she does not live with you but comes & go,neigbhours can tell.Well, once again we are thankful,My wife & i have endured so much, its over three years now.Our hope is in Jehovah God.

If you were kicked out of DV for fraud then you may have issues. Even if the agent made the mistake you are the one that signed the papers, and how would the agent know the details of your relatives children without you telling them ? They are going to check you out very closely because your tale of the agent being the bad person didn't fool anyone.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Nigeriaorbust,I wasn't kicked out for fraud since the entry wasn't selected for further processing.Myself & some in my immediate family employed the service of an agent, details for each of us were given him but he had things mixed up.Not until recently I was made aware of the huge red flag this has been for our spousal visa application, for all DV entries, whether selected or not, form a data base for the US State Department for future use.It would be foolish for any to want to trick the system.

In one of the thread on nairaland, where a US Visa Officer answers questions on US immigration, the VO said that a Misrepresentation can only entered when & if an applicant appear before a US Consular Officer & take an oath, after which it was proved that his or statements & documents were false.I hope i'm able to clarify.

Wasn't selected for further processing ? Did you win or not ? If you won those details may still be in their system and they are out checking for the children you reported then. If you never won you hope that those details ended up in some bit bucket. So many people have been tripped up by funny things in their past applications.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
