I know almost all of us have filled DS 160. However, I was looking at the page below and towards the bottom of this page it says:

http://evisaforms.state.gov/default.asp

Available e-Forms:

Nonimmigrant Visa Applications

While NVC.STATE.GOV/K1 instructs us to fill DS 160.

Any experts wanna clear this up?

Outdated information and websites perhaps. I noticed the Kuwait consulate website lists the visa processing fee as $350. That fee has changed twice since then. It has not been $350 since April 2012.

That Kuwait info here on VJ is outdated too. If you notice, it has not been edited and updated by anyone since 2012.

The DS-160 replaced the other DS forms for a K-1 back in Oct. 2013. Did Kuwait provide you with instructions that seem outdated? You could contact them directly to ask exactly what is required of you for the K-1 visa.

Here is the info from the Dept. of State:

The DS-160, Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application form, is for temporary travel to the United States, and for K (fiancé(e)) visas. Form DS-160 is submitted electronically to the Department of State website via the Internet. Consular Officers use the information entered on the DS-160 to process the visa application and, combined with a personal interview, determine an applicant’s eligibility for a nonimmigrant visa.

Visa applicants must submit a completed DS-160, Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application for all nonimmigrant visa categories, including applicants applying for K visas.
