Expedite request approved, didnt pay IV fee and fill DS260 at NVC yet

Hi, I dont know if anyone is under the same situation as mine. I have scan date on March 2nd, submitted DS261 on Feb 19th.

I sent an email to request for expedite the case and get approval today. NVC told me on the phone today that they will nolonger process my case and it will be transfer to HCM embassy.

So will I pay the IV fee at the embassy? And what about the DS260 form? Im confused....

When you skip NVC processing, you'll usually pay your fees at the embassy and bring forms with you unless they instruct you otherwise. The embassy should be in touch shortly with necessary forms.

But is the Ds260 is an online form, and it's just available after I pay the iv fee? If so I don't know how i could finish it at the interview....

we are on the same boat..
i got confusing advices. to send or not to send documents to the NVC and to pay or not to pay..

some agent told me to pay and send docs... and then we received an email that it will be forwarded immediately to the NVC...

what happened was that yesterday april 1. our status in CEAC changed.. The IV fee can no longer be paid online and the DS 260 shows NOT STARTED.

we are awaiting as to when is the interview date. because the tracker shows IN TRANSIT..

so dont worry. the ceac information will change...

And how long after you get approval for your expedite request your case status change to transit? I checked mine this morning it's still at NVC

The status will change after they sent the files. Some rep told me, it takes 48 hours, some other told me, there is no timeline for this. Apparently the CEAC status is slightly delayed anyway.
