NVC works in mysterious ways ;)

You're almost there, keep the positive vibes going

NVC assigns interviews according to slots posted by individual countries relevant embassy......According to my experience NVC assigns interviews every 2 weeks....like see, my CC was 04-09 and NVC started to assign interviews for Islamabad,Pakistan embassy at 16th april but it was stopped at a person(Pakistani) who had CC at 4th April so mine case was not scheduled for interview but after 2 weeks NVC again started to assign interviews at 28th april for ISlamabad Embassy in which my case were also scheduled for interview and even those pakistanees who had CC at 23rd april were scheduled for interview...i don't know this time where NVC will stop its scheduling, may be at 25th april so i think now pakistani peoples who had CC at 26th april & afterwards will receive interview scheduling after 2 weeks....This isn't NVC fault this is just we are falling in long waiting dates.....and 10 to 20 days waiting are nothing my Friends....

So I got my p4. Interview on the 23rd June. Still pissed off though. How the hell can people with CC's almost four weeks after me have interviews two weeks before me? How can this sh*t be fair? I am so sick of how all of this keeps turning out.

I read somewhere that priority dates are factored into scheduling. Someone with an earlier date may have started the process months before you. I don't know if that is accurate, but it does seem to explain some of the mystery.

Congratulations and good luck in your interview. You're almost finished; stay positive.

I am CR1 so my priority date is immediate I think.

You still get a priority date for a CR1. It is listed on the NOA1 from USCIS.

As long as the Petitioner is a US citizen, the Priority date isn't much of an issue. If the Petitioner is a Permanent Resident, then they have to wait for their priority date to be called to begin the process.
