Chas, how long was the CEAC status page at "Ready" for after your interview before it went to AP?

Just the question I wanted to know too! :)

Michael's interview was Monday. By the time I checked it Tuesday 7/28 it was already in AP status, so I never saw the READY. Hoping it won't be in AP too long.

Check my signature. Interview on 20th, AP on 21st, Issued on 22nd!

I don't think I checked on the 20th after I got home from the interview (I didn't think it would change that quickly). I checked on the 21st to see it had gone to "Administrative Processing", then was very surprised when I checked on the 22nd to see it changed to "Issued".

My Visa was delivered 8 days after the interview

Can anyone tell me if this is really the right one I need to be checking?

https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx

If I put it to immigrant, put in the case number it tells me READY.

If I put it to non-immigrant, and the case number I get invalid. If I put in the AA it gives me No Status.

Yuna, that is the correct link, and yes, you select "Immigrant Visa (IV)" and enter your LND case number.

It will likely change to "Administrative Processing" by tomorrow

American Airlines. I have loads of air miles with them (I've travelled with them the most over 15 years of travelling to the USA). A one way flight in Main Cabin Extra (AA equivalent to Premium Economy), with priority boarding, cost all of £127.88 + 40K air miles! I had accumulated over 130K air miles, so thought it was about time I used some. Especially as paying full fare, even at economy prices, was well over £1200 (return) with one way flights costing more.

My POE is NYC where I will have to deal with immigration, though I will then be connecting there to Pittsburgh where I'll meet with my partner. No direct flights to Pittsburgh anymore unfortunately!

That's awesome, I have loads of BA airmiles though BA have now miles availability on their flights. I should be able to phone BA and then get an AA flight on miles, but then I have to connect and was hoping to avoid. Hope the connections goes OK, how long did you leave yourself to change planes?

I have to connect as there's no direct flights from the UK to Pittsburgh (with American).

My flight arrives in NYC at 12.55. My connecting flight departs at 15.30. I figured that 2.5 hours should be sufficient to clear immigration and to transfer luggage. If the worst comes to the worst, getting another flight to Pittsburgh from NYC would be no big deal. It's the International flights one has to make sure to catch!
