About the varicella. A check mark for varicella history gets anybody a waiver because you are considered immune to the disease and don't require a shot ever.

D (not routinely available) gets those interviewing for immigrant visas such as IR1/Cr1 a waiver because they don't adjust status. They are essentially getting approved for their greencard at the visa interview. They can not get a shot that is not available, so they get approved with a waiver for the unavailable shot. They only need this waiver if they didn't have chickenpox.

"Varicella history" trumps "not available". If you had chickenpox you need no waiver code (D) marked. It can be blank and should be because the D Is extraneous information.

Yes. Apparently it's right. Ours were left totally blank. Took two days to sort it out. See my review on the Knightsbridge thread. But it's just a check mark. :)

I can't edit this post which I made on my phone and therefore mis-read the post I replied to, but please see Nich-Nick's comments. I thought you got the check mark as well. Mine initially didn't and I had to get them to change it and send me a new form.

Yes it does have a check mark for history but it also has the d. Because they put the d and he went back and they added the history check mark to both of them. So I would imagine that would be ok since history trumps it like she said.

Yes, that's what happened to us. As long as the check mark is there. :)

Sweet thanks guys!

For what it's worth, mine has both too. It's because they didn't do a new form - they left the D where it was and just added the check mark. The check mark was HUGE - it filled the entire area of the form. I was amused by this because it took so long to sort it out over the phone that I wondered if the size was saying something, lol. The nurse gave me a bit of a run-around because she was totally focused on the fact that my daughter had a waiver for her MMR booster shot and she seemed very excited about getting letters issued so I could take her for a second opinion (which has nothing to do with the AOS). Oh well, all I cared about was not having to go through this whole malarky again once we are in the US.

Lol his is small but at least it's there. And it's the same for us they just added it so that's why the d was still there. And he can get them with my insurance once here but it's a pain to do the medical bit all over again etc.. For aos

So are you going to start a countdown? :D I suppose it gives you time to hunt for good ticket prices too. So has he handed in his notice? A month is common required notice in the UK. My terms of employment require 8 weeks, but they have taken my advance notice from when I told them about our approval so I won't be held to it, which had been a big concern of mine. I know that employers in the US don't generally insist on such a long notice period.
