NVC Nonsense

We are in the process of petitioning my Mom to the Us from the Philippines. I am a US Citizen and we filed the I-130 in October, 2014. Visa was approved December 4, 2014 showing a priority date of October 6, 2014. We then filed a DS-261 online which was acknowledged by the US State Dept on Feb 7 2015. We paid the AOS fee of $120 at that time also. We were advised on this site to go ahead and send in the Affidavit of Support to help hurry along the invoice for the IV Application Processing Fee. NVC acknowledged the receipt of the AOS on Feb 20, 2015. We received an email yesterday from NVC as agent for my Mom but addressed to her also indicating that "This letter has a list of documents that are missing or that need additional information". The problem is that the letter contains no such list. It does however ask us to complete Form DS-261 even though we have already done so !!!! We are still waiting to be invoiced for the IV Application Processing Fees. What should we do? Seems next to impossible to get anyone on the phone at NVC.

There's an nvc bible with current stuff, in the link below. Please click with mouse, read with eyes.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Thank you for the link, however it doesn't answer my question. Your link says that NVC will invoice the IV Application fees within "a few weeks" of receipt of the DS-261. That date was Feb 7 and its now March 29 but fee has not been invoiced. What to do?

it's time to pick up the phone and call NvC. Speak to a supervisor to review your ds261 over the phone. Invoice will surface after that.

Did that yesterday and finally got through. They said they sent the letter because they hadn't received the DS-261 at that time but had it now and would be invoicing the IV fee soon. Said to just disregard the letter. What a relief !
