Hello.

I would like to know where can i get a detailed guide on how to properly petition to bring my parents to live permanently in US. I see that form I-130 needs to be submitted, but what kind of visa do they need to apply for? Please provide me with some guidance.

Judging by your timeline you probably have to wait another three years before you can petition for your parents - you have to have US citizenship, not just greencard, if I understand correctly (please correct me if I'm wrong).
