made this visa journey account, and posted topics and anyways, my husband and i didn't file single/ head of household. we file every year together, even though we paid 2800 last year.. any who my husband speaks fair English and reads ok, he has studied all one hundred questions. his interview is on monday at 8am. what happens if he doesn't pass the english writing test, i have him writing and answering some of the questions so it may help him learn something. would he be given another try just on the writing english test or he will get denied and have to reapply..

If you fail the language or civics tests, you will be given a letter indicating that you failed and sent home. Your application will not be denied. USCIS will then schedule a second interview for you (I'm not 100% sure if this is done automatically or not, but I think it is).

If you fail the test again, then your application will be denied and you will have to apply again.

All the words that may be used in the reading and writing portion of the interview are near the back of the study guide. You can study the exact words to read and write.

Good luck in irving!

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
