Biometeric Date - Can we go earlier

It took over a month from filing to finally get Biometric Letter and it's dated April 6th in Dallas.

Can we go to Biometric early I was wanting to head there Monday 31st.

Do you think this will be an issue?

some offices yes, some no....doesnt hurt to try if not inconvienant, but, doesnt have any bearing on length of AOS (see our timeline) or receipt of combo card.

Check with your assigned office. I am not sure if they do biometrics everyday.

There was a blizzard predicted on our date. When I called the person on the phone told me they would probably close because of the storm so to just come in the next day (about 3 days early). When we arrived they told us we shouldn't have arrived early But they let us process anyway. We had to wait about an hour until they could fit us in. So it's worth a try imo if you are close.

It depends on the service center you're going to. The closest SC to us allows walk-ins. If you really need to or want to, take a chance. I guess it won't hurt if you got refused and surely will be happy if you got through.

The St. Paul office says no walk in accepted on the door but that information isn't helpful if you have to drive hours to get it that way. I hope it works for you.

K-1 from Haiti - NOA1: 5/27/2014; NOA2: 7/8 USCIS never updated to say that it was sent to the NVC (just in case you're as concerned about your status not updating as I was about mine)
