hello everyone,

I just have a question about my AOS case, I got K1 visa in and got married on October 5th, 2014, then I filed my AOS.

i485 file date : November 8th, 2014

Bio test : December 5th, 2014

My case status (i485) changed to " Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview" : January 15th, 2015

Received combo card : January 27th, 2015

File office : Chula Vista, CA

It's been 2 months since my case status changed, but I haven't received anything for going to the interview. And I tried to call and ask about it, they can't really give me an answer but just told me to wait. I saw some ppl on here already got their interview and green card even they are filing date is after mine. I am so happy for them, but I feel really scared of what's going on, and so afraid that if I lost my mail or something. Is anyone has the same experience like me ? Or this is normal?

Another question is can someone told me that is the field office the same one that where I have my bio appointment, is that correct ?

Thank you so much for answering and helping me!!!!

The waiting time varies from your local office to that of others. It doesnt matter whether you filed before some people or they did before you. All depends on your local office and the work load they got. I applied for AOS long before some people and they had their card far before me. I just had mine after waiting for 12months 15days. Good luck
