K1 Visa - How long for interview letter?

HI ,

So i have filled in all online forms, had my medical approved and have been waiting 6 weeks now for my interview letter and it still hasnt come.

I have checked the status online and my visa applicaton says 'ready'

Can I contact the UK London embassy for more information? What number do I use?

You can't call. Use the contact form http://london.usembassy.gov/niv/visa_contact_form.html

Six weeks is longer than normal. Was your medical more than six weeks ago?

I'm assuming the online forms included the DS160 and readiness form. Contact them with the form in the above post. They are pretty good at replying in a few days. If you've moved since the petition was filed and they used a different mailing address, I understand that the mail is returned to sender and not redirected. Or it could have been wrongly delivered or lost in the mail. The email is your best bet. Once you've mailed them, you can reply on their response email so you don't have to keep going back to the contact form, as long as your query is related to the same issue.
